Rated 2 out of 5 by Pretty Rough I don't think this experience represents good value for money. The description conjures up something much more glamourous than you actually get. The waiting staff were friendly and helpful, the telephone staff a little less so. The venue is a busy bar at night and at breakfast time it looks and smells like it. The crockery and seating were grubby and the food was average. There was plenty of it but the quality wasn't good. The ingredients looked tired and and the meat was greasy and overcooked. It was OK but I was expecting something more special. 29 April 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by delicious breakfast My fiance and I had breakfast here and it was excellent. The staff were really helpful and told us if there was anything on the menu we didn't like we could change it, not all experiences like this have that option so that was great that we were able to change something. The staff were quick with getting the food out. To top it off it was a lovely morning sitting outside with views of Darling Harbour. I would reccommend this to anyone wanting a filling and delicious breakfast! 29 April 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Average food, Great View, Excellent Service You will be seated outside with a view of the harbour, which I guess is what you end up paying mainly for. The food was pretty average, for an example, I could tell the Hollandaise sauce served with the Eggs Benedict was straight out from a supermarket shelf heat and serve pack. The Sausages and Bacon tasted like rubber. Hash brown was the only thing that stood out from the hot food. The fruit platter with the pancakes and the maple syrup was OK, compared to the hot food. Again, this won't be something that would set your taste buds on fire. Service was excellent though, the staff was very friendly and quick. Don't set your expectations too high on the food, if you don't mind spending $80 for breakfast with a view. 29 April 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by The ambience and food was most enjoyable A very relaxed experience at a lovely venue at Cockle Bay. The food was plentiful and good. The service was prompt. I always give a tick when water is served with the coffee! If those little things are looked after you can generally be sure the rest is good too. 28 April 2013

Not only did we receive some of the most attentive staff we have ever experienced in Sydney, but our breakfast selection was incredible, and catered perfectly to a health-conscious vegetarian, and a meat-eating foodie. They even offered a slight alteration to the menu because we didn't eat one component. All together, a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend! :) 22 April 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bought as a gift; they loved it and want a repeat visit! We bought this as a gift for our folks over in Australia. They have raved about it ever since! They said that this was one of the nicest breakfasts/brunches they have had. What a civilized Saturday morning/afternoon treat. For the money this is extremely good value and they mentioned that the food just kept coming! Rated 5 out of 5 by Exceptional in every way - service, food vairty and quality, value and venue This was a gift to us from our family and it certainly exceeded our expectations. It is a sensational venue, right in the heart of Cockle Bay with sweeping views of Darling Harbour. The staff were exceptional - firendly courteous and attending to our every request. The food was plentiful and loaded with fresh fruits and hot foods. We managed to consume most but not all- there was enough to satisfy any appetite. Every aspect of this gourmet champayne breakfast was satisfied and we are full of praise and recommendations to our family and friends. Congratulations to all concerned. 18 April 2013

Staff were too busy to care for our needs. it rained and we sat in the rain for about 10 mins before anyone came to move us. Food was cheap looking and tasting. Expected more mushrooms. I have been to high teas with more food than this. I think if you buy it as a voucher the staff care less about you as they see it as a value was less thing. I asked for my voucher back as it was a gift and the message was on it. The staff member proceeded to be rude and acted like it was impossible for me to get a copy of my voucher back for my own sentimental value. She said she had "600" vouchers here...I had only come in half an hour ago and could see it so i pointed it out to her and she went on to tell me that that couldnt be it and that i couldnt take it. I told her she could have a copy so she could process it but it would mean a lot to me if she would give it back. It was all a bit difficult for her, but in the end, begrudgingly she gave me it back. Rated 5 out of 5 by Sun, water and good food - what more do you want It was a great breakfast at a great location, overlooking Darling Harbour on a sunny morning. staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Extra people joined us and that wasn't a problem. A great selection of both hot and cold brekky favourites, from fruit to pastries to eggs benedict. All round excellent experience - would happily go again or recommend to others. 15 April 2013

Fabulous location, the staff were polite, experienced, and presentation was excellent. Would recommend to anyone wanting a 'brunch' style meal, and then add onto the day by visiting Madam Tousseau's close by!! 9 April 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful and delicious As soon as we walked in we were seen to by a lovely smiling waitresses. All the staff were wonderful and the service was fantastic. The food was quick to the table, and was presented in a way that we couldn't wait to eat it and it certainly tasted as good as it looked. The coffee was also great.
