Rated 4 out of 5 by Afternoon Dinner Cruise - March 16 The vessel was very nice, however, the windows could have been cleaner. We had window seats - great! The food, drinks, service and entertainment were all great. One improvement that could be made is the length of the cruise. It departed at 5 pm and returned at 6.30 pm. This allows you to quickly eat your meal but not much time to have a good look at the scenery or to walk around the boat. Overall, we really enjoyed the occasion. 2 April 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by A really fun thing to do in your own backyard It goes without saying that the views that the cruise offer are world class and you never get tired of them. The food was of a very high standard as well. The only small issue with the food was that there was only 1 entree while there was 3 mains to and 2 desserts to choose from. It would also have been nice if the cruise went for another 15 minutes because by the time you finish your meal there is not much time left to go outside and look around. All in all it was a very fun and pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend it. 19 March 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by This was quite pleasant - a bit too short I took my mum on this cruise for a Xmas gift - it was quite pleasant - maybe a little "touristy" and too short - 2 hrs would have been better so we had time to finish our drinks.. 4 March 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Not to bad Food was average, service very friendly, beer glasses were dirty and beer was flat. The scenery was spectacular. This was a gift so I am unsure of the cost but not sure I would pay to do it again. 19 February 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Not Worth The Cost Unless You Are A Drinker The food was definitely not worth $89 per person. We could've gone to a nice city restaurant overlooking the harbour and spent this much - including drinks as my husband had 1 beer and I had 2 Cokes. The food was average - definitely boy what I would expect for the price. There was only one option for entree which was seafood and my husband can't eat it so had to ask if there was another option. He was offered a bowl of salad but then trout was delivered to him and he had to flag down a server to change it. If you can consume a fair amount of alcohol then you could get your money's worth however it's only a 90 min cruise and unless you're a beer or wine drinker (I'm not) then you have to pay more. 4 February 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by great relaxing way to see the Harbour. Firstly just let me say what a good job the Red Balloon team do in organising changes at the last minute - Thank you. The dinner cruise was great and made even better by wonderful, friendly staff. Meal was not too bad and was 3 course not 2 which was a nice surprise but my desert was not the best and could not eat it. I would recommend booking for the dinner and then booking to stay on for another round of the harbour doing the cocktails as one and a half hours goes way too quick and you will want to stay on! 21 January 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by A nice, albeit short, cruise The weather was not on our side unfortunately however we were seated by a window fully enclosed so it didn't bother us. The short stint of entertainment was fun but on the whole the cruise did seem a little rushed having a three course meal within one and a half hours. The food was nice enough not fine dining but we didn't expect that. The staff were fabulous. 21 January 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Overall it was very enjoyable - good food and scenery. The food and the scenery were very good although the cruise was a little rushed, only 90 minutes. The service, especially the drinks, was not to a high level. We had to ask for the wine to be served and then our glasses refilled when the advertising said unlimited drinks. The cruise was a present from our son and so not sure of the value for money. 3 January 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Little disappointed We decided to do the later cruise and pay extra to upgrade was not told that drinks were not included and you didnt have a great scenery because it was dark so you could only see what was lit up, would do this cruise again. 18 December 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by This was a wonderful cruise Our cruise was so enjoyable. From the moment we stepped on board the crew could not do enough for us. The food and beverages were sumptuous and the scenery spectacular. They ever put sparklers on our dessert when they learned it was our anniversary. 29 November 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Not bad, but not as good as the lunchtime cruise Both lunch and dinner cruises were gifts so not sure what the price difference is. However the lunch time one was longer so allowed for outside viewing as the dinner one did not allow time for outside viewing. It took our waiter 35 minutes to get my wife a glass of water. It took 3 reminders to get a glass of water. All in all staff were pleasant and polite 24 November 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Might recommend to tourist but not to locals The Red Baloon crew were fantastic in helping us find our booking which somehow didn't get finalised. The overall experience was average because the boat itself needs a lot of refurbishment. My chair at the table we sat at was covered in stains . The food was not up to Sydney standards . On the other hand the staff were fantastic friendly courteous efficient. Wouldn't recommend to locals and I would be cautious about recommending the cruise to tourists. 24 November 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by A thoroughly enjoyable early evening experience. From the outset as we boarded the boat, the evening ran like clockwork but was not rushed in any way. Staff were welcoming, courteous and efficient and the prompt and efficient service ensured the time available was well managed. Our menu had a good selection of courses, the food was lovely, as were the wines we were offered. Despite an overcast evening, our cruise was most enjoyable and an unexpected delight was the entertainment provided by a talented singer who added colour to a very pleasant evening. 17 November 2012

I was initially apprehensive having been on previous such outings where we just anchored in one of the bays but we actually cruised the whole time and what a harbour! Would certainly recommend it to anyone even though we are locals. 17 November 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by Because I am only quite young, the food they provided wasn't what I would have usually gone for. Maybe, they could of had a few more options to choose from? Apart from that, it was a really lovely night. The sunset was amazing and the staff were really friendly. Thanks! 17 July 2012
