Rated 5 out of 5 Best experience! Absolutely breathtaking! There where so many dolphins, and even if you where not swimming you saw them every up close and personal! Swimming with them was amazing, they just swim right on past you! The seals where also just as amazing, and you could openly snorkel where you liked around their home! Overall trip was amazing! And staff where hot!!! (Ben) ;) HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! 6 April 2013

The experience evolved from start to finish, jumping in with the dolphins, having then swim in arms reach, getting so close to seals, seeing how the act from day to day and having a close look at the man made aquarium. The crew provided a great deal of knowledge to all animals which was great to hear. 1 April 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great fun, good buzz, just don't go when it's busy There were over thirty snorkelers over Easter when I went out - that's twenty too many. It meant you only got a couple of minutes in with the fast disappearing dolphins before the next group had a go. That meant 1.5 hours of buzzing around the bay trying to find the pods as you stood shivering in a soggy wet suit. It was worth it - great to see a couple of dolphines buzzing around your feet. Even better were the seals, who loved to swim under and around you - we spent 15 minutes with them, and you could almost touch them. Even the marine park was better than I expected. This would be a five star experience in off-peak. It would mean plenty more time with the dolphins (even though, technically, you're not swimming with them, but rather staring at them as you hold onto a rope). Very friendly staff too, and a relaxing three hours. 1 April 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great experience on a beautiful part of the bay Perfect weather, nice boat, happy knowledgeable staff and crew and we were set for a great morning. Jamie had us sorted with wetsuits and flippers in double quick time and soon enough we were in the water and coming face to face with fur seals. Staff were very helpful with tips about dealing with the current and where to position yourself for the best view - helped the kids and those not familiar with the water to have a great time too. Off to the other side of the bay (near Point lonsdale) to a smoother part for a quick swim/snorkle around a marine park and then back along the portsea side in search of the elusive dolphins. Even though we didn't find any that morning, and despite an episode of sea sickness by me, we still had a great time. Lovely way of experiencing the bay, birds eye view of the cliff top mansions and an easy first time experience of snorkelling. Thanks again for a great day. 12 March 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by A truly amazing experience with knowledgable and friendly guides. I went on the tour on 10/03/13. It was a perfect day even when we arrived there at 8:30am. The tour company was easy to find and there was plenty of parking available. We were quickly checked in and all staff were exceptionally friendly and extremely helpful when it came to getting the right sized equipment. These guys know their stuff. Everything was timed perfectly, I never felt rushed or like I had been waiting for too long. On board there was plenty of room for everyone and the convenience of a kiosk as well as free coffee, tea and hot chocolate. It wasn't long before we left the dock and headed out to for our seal encounter. On the way, staff were informative and gave good clear instructions on how to use the equipment and get the most out of our experience. They were friendly, approachable and made sure everybody knew what they needed to know. When we got to the seal swim area, the staff pointed out that there was a current in the water, which way it was moving and how to cope with it. Being in the water with the seals was a simply amazing experience. They were very happy to swim with and around the tour participants and I'm sure I could see a smile on the face of every person, and a few of the seals as well. Some of them let me swim up nice and close and if they thought I was close enough they would simply swim away. The dolphins were being a bit cheeky, they were clearly visible from the boat and we got some great pictures, but they weren't very interactive with people in the water. Most of us experienced a few quick swim by dophins but I wasn't disappointed at all. Like I said I had an awesome view of them from the boat. Last stop was for a bit of a snorkel around a marine park which was a pleasant, unexpected surprise. Once that was over, I was ready to take off the wetsuit and enjoy a nice cold drink. I felt completely fulfilled by my experience and it was just the perfect length with excellent staff. I really couldn't be happier with the day. 10 March 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Day! Had Such a great time! The crew and boat were awesome! Was perfect weather, although the water was a little dirty and you couldnt see very well under water, but they cant help that :) Saw plenty of seals and under water life and dolphins were tricky to see in the murky water, but the crew put in the extra effort to try let us see them under the water by dropping the groups that seen the dolphins and had to get off the boat at the pier and then took us back out to see the dolphins. They tried so hard but the water was just too murky. Would highly recommend anyone to do this.. If you're unsure to do it or not, do it! Its totally worth it! 5 March 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by So much fun! What a great experience! The staff were great, made sure everyone had a great experience and a great day. Dolphins played cat and mouse, but we still enjoyed them. Staff made every effort to ensure an encounter. The seals were a treat, very playful. Whether swimming or watching this was a fantastic day out. Would definately like to go again. 2 March 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Mediocre, definitely NOT value for money... Great staff & good boat but no value for money. Should be called 'Swim with seals and maybe...just possibly...if you are extremely lucky....with dolphins too!'. This being our second time during what was billed as the best month for seeing dolphins. Yes, they are wild animals and there are no guarantees but we met several others who heard the same song and dance routine about 9 out of ten times ratio of seeing dolphins and have been more than once unsuccessfully. Not as good as elsewhere in the world that we can vouch for. Rather under promise and over deliver, the impression created is not reality. Take your own food & drink. 23 February 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by it was a magic experience The crew were excellent , very friendly and informative. Everything was organised and we had enough time at each event. The seals were fantastic as you could get up close in their natural habitat. The number of participants was spot on , enough for an atmosphere but not too crowded that it was difficult to see the attractions. I was especially impressed that when an injured baby dolphin was spotted the crew attenpted to assist and informed us we couldn't enter the water as it would upset the pod , especially as there were other very young dolphins in the pod .Responsibility over profit , WELL DONE. 22 February 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by This was disappointing Quite excited when I first arrived as I've wanted to swim with dolphins since I was little. They handed out wetsuits didn't have one smaller enough for me - strike one. Froze when I went in the water as water was seeping through the top of my wetsuit due to it being too big! Strike Two didn't swim with dolphins!!! 11 February 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good experience Because swimming with the dolphins is the featured experience it is disappointing when you do not get to do this. I know dolphins are wild so it's hit or miss so they should market the trip as swimming with the seals and fish with the opportunity to swim with the dolphins. Having said that the staff were great And just cruising around the beautiful mornington wpeninsula was wonderful. 31 January 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by not exactly swimming "with" dolphins more like swimming within the vacinity of dolphins you will be swimming in the freezing water with wetsuit and snorkelling gear the most you can expect is to get a quick glimpse of the dolphins as they swim past you for the price it is below average at best 22 January 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by This was a lovely experience Overall it was a lovely day....The staff were absolutely wonderful..They really lifted the atmosphere and really gave a wonderful personal touch...For that alone, it was 5 stars.. The boat ride was lovely, and seeing and swimming with the seals was great..The website did mention there was a 94% success rate of swimming with dolphins...We did see two dolphins....Sadly though after the first 20 people jumped in to swim with them, we didnt get a chance to due to time..So that was greatly disapointing. And it felt like we were pestering them abit...Trying to herd them up or something...I know they're in the wild and you cant guarantee anything..Even the first people that jumped in to swim with them didnt really see them under the water...So like i said, this was not the fault of the staff in anyway...But i will say if you are booking a swim with dolphns in the wild, its something that is left up to nature..Try not to have too many expectations.. drift Vic 18 January 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by not as described This experience was not as described did not see a single dolphin in the water it is called "swim with dolphins and seals" when really its just swim with seals and if your lucky you might see a dolphin swimming in the distance but you will never actually be there swimming with the dolphin staff were good, helpful and friendly. 7 January 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by It was an amazing experience, and we probably wouldn't have done it if I had not seen it on the RedBalloon gift site, because that is where I was looking for a gift for my mother 77th birthday present. The guys on the RedBalloon Dolphin Trip, especially Jamie, were amazing in helping my mother in and out of the water and sticking by my eleven year old nephew who was very nervous. 2 April 2012
