Rated 5 out of 5 by There wasn't a thing we weren't thrilled with!!! What and incredibly yummy experience! The service was fantastic, they were friendly, attentive, we were also offered complimentary champagne as it was our anniversary! The food was incredible, there was so much of it, so if you're going for dinner i suggest you dont eat a lot for lunch beforehand. The red wine was beautiful. Each course was well presented and tasted superb! Our favs were the salmon and wagyu carpaccio, the main course wagyu and the ample dessert platter! We'll be back for sure!!! 6 March 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Memorable experience The service is impeccable, very rare can you recieve this type of service anywhere else. We had our own waitress and she was amazing. The food is divine and genuinly finger licking good! They were accommodating to our needs, look forward to going back. 3 March 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Lots of food, fast but not to the quality expected for the $$$$ Absolutely heaps of food, quality not to the same standard as when we've been there before. The steak was sensational the rest was blah!! The service was so fast that as soon as one meal was finished the next was there, would have been nice to have a break in between and enjoy the night more. Al up I'd definitely go back for their steak, as it was as good as ever. But i'd leave it at that and some of their delicious chips. 26 February 2013

We started our night by being greeted and shown to the bar, the staff apologised for the table not being ready but did not mention that we were early. After a relaxing drink in the stylish bar we were shown to our table by another lovely staff member. Our table provided us with a great view of the Yarra River. The courses were brought out it time with our needs and not rushed. We loved every course, the Ribs and steak were to die for!! The potatoes in truffle oil were something that I would never have ordered off the menu, I will be returning for them because I can't stop thinking about them. And that brings us to the Desserts ...yes thats Plural... FIVE Desserts!!!!!! The white chocolate panna cotta was my favorite of the five, with the creme brulee, chocolate fondant, choc caramel tart and vanilla bean ice cream all coming a very close second. The shiraz was beauitful. And all of the staff were terrific, very attentative and helpful. We left the building with smiles on out faces and very very very full stomaches. And now we are busy planning our return trip and trying to decide which friends we like the most to take with us! 12 February 2013

Rated 1 out of 5 by RIPPED OFF My husband & i used our red ballon voucher at the meat & wine company.We were both very disapointed in our experience , firstly when booking we didnt even know what restaraunt it was we were going to untill we had booked. then when getting o the restaraunt they did not want to make any changes to the set menu. The wine we had to have was cheap & nasty . We felt that the food was mainly tasteless & not very good value for the money. Dessert was great. We wont be going back to The meat & wine company & we hope we never get another red ballon voucher. ripped off 15 December 2012

The friendly couple beside us also got the Tapas though Red Ballon and looked amazing too. Pretty sure the guy was from T.V. but can't pick from where. In what was an extremely busy restraurant we were still provided an excellent table and received personalised service much to our surprise given how busy the staff were. The food (each course served at our leisure) - just exceptional. You won't go wrong with this highly recommended. 25 November 2012

I've never been disappointed and the latest gift of the Ultimate Steakhouse Experience for 2 was one of the very best I've had. The meal was awesome! The staff, the restaurant, the service, the wine and especially the meal were all perfect. I arranged a trip from regional Victoria just to have this experience and it quite simply made the trip. 16 April 2012
