Doesn't force u to buy products as well... N I learnt from Kat.. she literally changed my look... I will reccomend everyone to go there who r interested in learning makeup.... 7 April 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by What a fab experience, perfect way to update my look as I havent done it for years, been using same products in the same way. Whole experience was professional and very worthwhile, arrived and greeted and taken straight through without any kind of waiting. My stylist asked me the look I was after, I said 3 children in a senior corporate role, very time poor etc.. all that was taken into consideration and a great result it was. Furthermore there was a $100 worth of goodies included and I spent another $400 so win win all round! 5 April 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Overall a very pleasant experience The girl who ran the session was friendly and helpful. Session ran for only 45 minutes instead of 1 hour but we went through everything I thought I needed help with. I would recommend this experience for others. Loved the products and will most likely go back and purchase more. Enjoyed the experience and it was well worth the money. 4 April 2013

Was a fairly good experience, was quite unstructured where you had to tell them what it is you want to learn. A good idea if you are going to get it done before heading out to a function as your makeup is done for you. It's great you get $95 worth of product. 1 April 2013

While I was happy with my final make up and the staff member looking after me was lovely, I wouldn't call it a makeup lesson because I wasn't really taught anything! The staff member did my makeup and as she was doing it I had to ask questions, which is quite difficult if you don't even know what you should be asking. I wasn't talked through anything except for why she was putting the serum on my face. I spent almost $300 on products afterwards and now I'm not even sure I can replicate the look because nothing was properly explained. Also, the lesson was supposed to go for an hour and I was out within 30 minutes. If this was me just getting my makeup done for a night out I would have scored it much higher and been very happy but it was supposed to be a makeup lesson and I don't think it was treated that way. I would learn more watching YouTube videos and I would have much more money in my pocket. Explaining my scores: Quality: if it was getting my makeup done for a night out, I would be happy, but as it was a makeup lesson I think the quality was average at best. Value: The value is good in that you can redeem the amount paid for the lesson on makeup but in terms of a 'lesson', without learning anything, there is no real value Staff & Service: The staff looking after me was really nice and if it was just me getting my makeup done for a night out, I'd be really happy but in terms of the lesson, she didn't explain anything to me except for the serum (only why you put it on, not even how much or how to do it) so it's hard to give a good score Venue: Great location and the store is very nice! 29 March 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very good experience - made for a fun day out. Overall the experience was great and I learned a lot, but there were just a few things that could have been better.. Firstly, my appointment was at 1:30pm. We were eating at a cafe beforehand and had to really rush lunch and coffee to get there on time. When we got there, we were told my make up artist would just be a few minutes and to go for a walk and come back or wait around.. so that's all fine... but we literally didn't start until after 2 o'clock. I kept thinking if I knew they were this casual about starting on time, I would have taken my time with lunch and actually enjoyed it. I also wasn't expecting the make-up to be so expensive.. But other than that, the staff were really friendly and I walked out feeling confident and 'pretty'. I would have liked to have had a go at trying to put some of the eye shadows on myself etc - so that when I get home I would be able to replicate what was done.. But maybe there wasn't enough time for that.. 4 March 2013

Staff were really friendly and easy to talk to and I learnt so much about applying make up and the tricks of the trade (contouring is my friend)! Great value for money considering the cost is redeemable for their products which is of such high quality! 19 January 2013

I thought the store was very appealing to the eye, however whilst I was getting my makeup done the other girls who worked there, (that didn't look much older then me!) weren't very pleasant, never smiling, almost giving me mean looks! The makeup artist that was actually doing my makeup was lovely. She taught me the skills I wanted to learn, my makeup look was very different to what I would normally do so I wasn't sure if I liked it, my family however thought it was good! I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to learn a new makeup skill or just to feel good! Why not, you receive $95 worth of products so the lesson is pretty much free!!! Rated 2 out of 5 by I wiped all the make up off as soon as I got in the car As far as value for money goes it was good. The session went for 1.5 to 2 hours and covered a lot. The $95 redeemable in product does not go far in product but it's still a bonus. My criticism is that it was over the top and too detailed. I explained that I don't wear a lot of make up and need a simple make up routine. I really wanted to concentrate on eyes and how to do eye make up in the colours that suit me. While I definitely picked up some good tips and some good product tips I would have had to spend over $1,000 to purchase the products she recommended. The staff member was very nice but I don't think she got the brief. I walked out of there looking like a drag queen and there is no way I would ever be able to replicate the look, nor would I want to. She used about 10 colours on the eyes and 6 different brushes and the end look was nothing like I imagined or in the colours I liked. It was way too complicated for the average person to learn. I did get some good tips, but still don't know how to do eye make up properly. It should have been simplified to something the average person could achieve. 4 December 2012
