Rated 2 out of 5 by Overpriced. Don't arrive hungry! To be honest, this was very expensive for the quality of experience. If we didn't receive it as a gift, I would have been asking for a refund or at least a discount. Lunch was very late, average in quality and favoured one end of the ship. I had to fill up on plain bread rolls. The staff were all backpackers who had no experience running a ship or with customer service. The captain was actually a little bit abrupt with the kids who were allowed to steer. I'm sorry, this experience was overpriced and just not that great. 22 January 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by A very enjoyable day was had by both of us! The weather was perfect, couldn't have picked a better day for a cruise on a Tall Ship. The crew on the Soren Larsen were great, nothing was too much trouble and the musician kept us entertained whilst we enjoyed the view and our lunch. 17 January 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Overall reasonable experience but don't do it for the food The ad probably overstated the quality of the food that was served. The ad stated BBQ Lunch and what we got was fairly poor manafactured fingerfood (eg party pies & slices of salami on a tooth pick & cold pasta) - Vegos were poorly catered for. No drink with the meal (1 drink even if water or tea / coffee should have been included) Sydney harbour on a nice day is a real winner. Crew wrere friendly and informative & the singer /guitarist was a vey nice touch. Didn't cover too much of the harbour & only 2 sails were put up despite apparently perfect weather. 29 December 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Enjoyed our time aboard, staff were fabulous We really enjoyed our sail on Sydney Harbour. The staff were great and the musician was good. The sail boat handled the extreme windy conditions brilliantly. The tuckerbox meal was disapointing due to rice and the noodle dishes were served extremely very cold making the consistancy a little gluggy. Hot pastries were only offerred at the end of the trip when we were approaching the wharf. They should have been offerred after the chorizo. Would have also liked to be offerred a drink either tea, coffee or a juice 22 December 2012

Rated 3 out of 5 by Did not experience boat sailing under a reasonable setting of sails. Disappointed only one small sail was set. There were sailing races underway on the harbour so lack of wind appeared to be not an issue. The excursion would have been much more enjoyable if we landlubbers could have experienced 1 or 1 1/2 hours under sail. 19 December 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderfully relaxing experience. Our lunch time cruise was a memorable experience. The weather was excellent, the harbour was magic & the food was plentiful & very tasty. The staff were polite, helpful & informative. The added touch of music was relaxing & enjoyable. Thankyou for the experience Tall Ships. 17 December 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by This was a great experice but..... This was a great experience, espeacialy the mask climb. Although it was very pricey & your Aussie tucker box is not real Aussie at all. A simple sausage sanga with sauce would be awesome. Maybe even a little bit of onion wouldn't hurt. Very crowded and not much seating and would have been nice to see inside cabin. 15 December 2012

The crew made everyone feel welcome & encouraged us all to take a hands on approach to the experience of sailing. The food was excellent, plentiful & varied. The crew were just amazing scaling the ropes & rigging & of course the views of the harbour were stunning. 6 December 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by Food The crew were terriffic. The sail was good but for an old Sydney expate a bit boreing and slow. The food was good except for a beef dish were the meat was going off and a bit doggie. Good for visiters to Sydney 3 December 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good experience, could have been better... The cruise on the harbour was GREAT. Our time on the ship was a great experience. We had a fantastic day. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, we were very disappointed with the food. I think we expected more of a traditional meal. eg. Crocodile and cold pastas was not what i expected. As this was a gift, we are not sure if it was value for money. Food aside, we did enjoy our time on the cruise. 30 November 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by An exhilliarating experience to remember. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our sailing experience from the moment we were greeted and boarded the beautiful sailing boat. The staff were friendly, the entertainment very relaxing and commentary was funny and entertaining. The food tasty and easy to manage as we all stood around the deck watching the big sails cut through the wind on our beautiful harbour. It lifted our spirits and was an exhilliarating experience we will remember. 22 November 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by A very enjoyable afternoon ! We really enjoyed the experience, the staff were very efficient, and friendly. Plenty of food (did not like the croc!) and the commentary interesting. The entertainment was top class and the ship was fascinating to look through. Overall we we would give it a 10 out of 10 and have recommended it to many of our friends. We are from the country and it was our first harbor cruise, so what a better way to see it! 19 November 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Relaxing way to see the harbour for tourists. Very weather dependent. When there is not much breeze you do not see a lot of the harbour and depending on the wind direction you may not see the really good parts of the harbour. The musical entertainment was great and the young hostess tried very hard but some of the other staff seemed very disinterested in what they were required to do and their attitude put a bit of a dampener on the experience. The day was overcast with very little breeze so maybe it made it hard work for everyone to get in the mood. The food was good and it was a very relaxing experience but not totally memorable. 17 November 2012
