Rated 2 out of 5 by Was expecting better, would not recommend if you love seafood, there are better options on the Coast Seafood was not fresh, all was frozen and didn't taste all that good. Was expecting a lot better, there are much better Seafood restaurants on the Coast. Service was average, we ordered a bottle of wine however our glasses were empty 50% of the time we were there and ended up taking half a bottle home with us. We sat with empty plates at our table for long periods of time. Overall I wouldn't recommend this experience, the view was the best part of our time there. 8 April 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Average experience Very hard to rate the experience.....the weather wasn't kind to us. When we arrived we were seated in the middle of the restaurant at a 4 person table...not very romantic as we were celebrating our wedding anniversay. There were only 5 other couples in the restaurant. We found it to have no atmosphere at all and not encouraging to stay. I think the deal was a overpriced. The cold seafood platter was lovely, hot platter was greasy and unappealing.The staff were unfriendly and not welcoming. Overall I was pleased to be leaving at the end of the evening. 7 April 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by atmosphere and staff were great The drive to Maleny was very pleasant and the beautiful day helped. The seafood platter was presented well but felt we could have had more prawns and oysters. As there were only 2 prawns each. Staff very friendly 17 March 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by OMG we have never been so spoilt Mother nature was'nt so kind to turn on the view of the hinterland that we were expecting, but the experience was something we will never forget. All the seafood was so fresh and our favourite was the oysters & scollops. Service was so personal that we were made to feel like we were the only ones there. Nothing was a problem even when the waitress had to ask Google to provide an answer. The setting relaxing & picturesque & the food plentiful. Thanks to the Owners, staff of the Terrace and our kids for providing a wonderful experience. 27 February 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by An Awesome Experience From the time we got there, we were treated beautifully. The soft lights and music just added to the atmosphere. The 'Seafood Experience' (as they called it) was explained to us in detail - what came first and what followed, etc. The courses flowed smoothly and our glasses were kept topped up. The staff were so friendly. We have already recommended this to a few friends and will continue to do so. 26 February 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by This was an amazing experience Wow! We received this gift for christmas from our children and we were absolutely delighted. The Seafood Indulgence was totally indulgent! Starter followed by cold seafood platter (presentation amazing), palate cleanser, then hot seafood platter, again beautifully presented. All dishes were a taste sensation. Only down side was we had to pay extra for our drinks (perhaps wine was included, but we preferred cold beers on the day) and for dessert. The dessert was spectacular. 19 February 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by A very pleasant experience It was surprisingly enjoyable. Not being a great fan of seafood I took hubby for the experience, the food was delicious and unique. The service was fantastic and professional without being pretentious, We had bad weather but it did not make any difference, even if we couldn't seen the coast line, the mist and rain in the mountains were relaxing and comforting. The arrangement of how the meal was presented was creative and it was nice to have it brought out in courses rather than just put on the table to eat all at once. I particularly enjoyed the palate cleanser between hot and cold seafood platters. Those little extra details make it a stand out from other restaurants. I inspected other peoples meals as they came out and each one looked delicious and intriguing. This place is somewhere to relax and really enjoy your food and each others company, for that I would not recommend taking the kids along. I would highly recommend this red balloon experience . 17 February 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by a superb environment and experience! My husband and I were delighted to be given this experience for our Christmas gift from our son. The drive to the restaurant up the mountain, then the table overlooking the view to the distant beach, and the welcome, followed by the great food, made this a night to remember fondly. Rated 5 out of 5 by Exceptional experience! I bought this for my boyfriend's Birthday in August and we finally got to experience this over our Xmas/New Year break. I couldn't be more positive about the experience and we have both already told all of our friends and family how amazing it was and recommended it to them. The food was so fresh and just absolutely perfect, the service was great and the scenery was beautiful. We couldn't fault a single thing. We were able to try so many different things from the menu provided in our package and we would go back again in a heart beat. Truly amazing!!! 16 January 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gift from our daughter in London It took some research to find out who the gift was from because there was no message attached. but having established it was from our daughter we were very happy. We chose a lunchtime experience and the location and view over the Hinterland was stunning. The food was excellent and I even posted a photo of our seafood starter on my facebook. Even though the restaurant is only half an hour from where we live we had not been there before but I have already recommended it to friends . An enjoyable experience! 9 January 2013
