Rated 4 out of 5 by Good staff Our personal experience was fairly positive. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and the service wasn't too long. The food was a bit spicy/hot most of the dishes were. The views were nice. We requested a window seat and got it!!! The wine wasn't very nice and the lady there was inpatient... it's vital you are patient as people are trying different wines and asking you questions etc... 7 March 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Couldn't have been better! From the moment we stepped through the door, we were made to feel very welcome. Fantastic selection of wines to taste, with no pressure to purchase & excellent information on the wines. No rush to move on either. Very polite & high level service at the restuarant, not rushed between courses. Food was fantastic. Add in the beautiful surroundings & it makes for a very special day. 18 February 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fabulous Food and Wine :) Our son bought this for us and I have to say we were very pleasantly surprised. The food was fabulous, the wine was great and the staff made you feel very welcome. We had front row seats to an amazing view and the restaurant was very full. The wine tasting was good also, however they probably could have gone into more detail. The staff in the cellar door were great. Very warm and freindly and lovely to hear it is all family owned. We will definately go back! 29 January 2013

With the stunning views, the delicious wines and don't get me started on their amazing 3 course meal!! - this is an experience my fiance and I will definitely remember. The staff were so lovely and we were looked after from beginning to end. I would definitely recommend this experience to others (especially couples looking for a bit of R n R). Rated 5 out of 5 by We had a brilliant time What a lovely way to relax after Christmas! A stunning meal, crisp wine and amazing scenery. Our visit to the winery was memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed our brief but insightful visit to the cellar door (and of course had to bring home a few bottles!) and then made our way to The Vines restaurant. We were given a brilliant table looking out over the winery and then had the awful job of selecting our three course meal from the extensive menu. I opted for a delicious roasted tomato soup, succulent smoked trout and finished with a delectable cheese platter. Our meal was accompanied by two bottles of wine (one of which we bought home). The table service was friendly and faultless. We will go again. 19 January 2013

It started with Janette I found her interesting and very knowledgable about wines. I had limited knowledge on wines and now I know what goes to make up certain wines it was very interesting. Then came the lunch and I can't remember his name but he too was very courteous and funny. Then came the food well what can I say it was exquisite, the view from where we sat was breathtaking. Overall a great day and will no doubt pass on our experience to all our family and freinds. 18 January 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Service & Great Food This was our second visit back to this wonderful restaurant, we previously had a breakfast here which was equally as good as the lunch. The service from the minute you arrive is excellent, friendly & warm service and the food is fantastic. Beautiful views over the hills I would recommend this for a special occasion.
