Rated 5 out of 5 All four of us, including my elderly parents, enjoyed the experience very much. The setting is lovely - amazing features in the building itself, and gorgeous outlook over the lake and garden areas. My father had the best porterhouse steak he's ever eaten! The meals were beautifully presented and not too big. We had a lovely walk around the lake after lunch. Thank you. 5 April 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Woodburn Estate a very pleasant place for sunday lunch. This restaurant pproved to be a very organised and pleasant venue.The menu was interesting and catered for all tastes. Portions were adequate.Alltogether a good decision to take adnatage of the red ballon gift certificate. 5 February 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect way to spend a weekend luncheon The Restaurant is situated in a beautiful garden, complete with billabong and water birds. Arrive 1/2 hour early for a walk, well worth it. We had a delightful lunch, on the patio overlooking the lake. Totally relaxing. The entree, (scallops) was 1st class, loved the ginger, main (steak) very good, the wine (shiraz) excellent. And the service, other tourism venues would learn a lesson. Best service we have had on the peninsula, really topped off a perfect day. 28 January 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by A hidden gem. The friendly and welcoming staff started what was a lovely experience for my wife and I. We chose to sit outside by the peaceful, relaxing lake for our meal and thoroughly enjoyed watching the water birds. The local wine and high quality food was top class. We didn't feel rushed and finished our experience with a walk around the path beside the lake. We both left feeling satisfied with our choice of Red Balloon experiences. 21 January 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by A lovely day enjoyed by all of us. The food was delicious. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Service was excellent. We had an expectant Mother in our group who, unfortunately, was unable to eat the meal that she ordered and there were no issues in having this changed to something that she could eat. The venue was lovely. We were very fortunate to have excellent weather also. 24 November 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by It was a cold and wet day so really enjoyed the ambience, the warm open fire and a warm welcome. Food and service was excellent. RedBalloon is a great gift idea as you can 'lash out' on something that is beyond your normal budget and is good for someone who has everything. Only complaint is that there are a lot of offers that are similar. 18 June 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by We have eaten in the restaurant there twice before and it has been interesting each time to see how the facilities (and garden) have grown. We struggled to choose an entree because there were so many great options Both of our choices were wonderful as were our main courses. The wine list was extensive and contained one of our favourite reds. We were greeted at the door and, initially, service was attentive but there seemed to be several disappearances by the waitress and manager and we had a long wait to order a bottle of wine.. However, the meal was wonderful and the waitress (Molly) was very sweet. All in all, we had a great lunch and will definitely return. 5 May 2012
