Rated 4 out of 5 by pleasant fresh seafood Seafood was fresh and nicely presented but rather un-imaginative. The menu says" traditionally prepared" which is quite correct. The Irish coffee was unfortunately horribly strong missing sugar was undrinkable. 20 December 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Fabulous food and attentive service. The view was pretty special as well! The food was presented beautifully and was obviously very fresh. Our waiter was attentive and remembered our individual likes and dislikes for the chef. I'm not a big fried food fan so an alternative was arranged at no extra cost for us (this was only one part of the extensive menu). The view was stunning and while it was a very hot day the breeze was fresh and perfect. I would definitely go back and take friends next time. 16 December 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by A very worthwhile experience. We had a wonderful relaxed lunch in beautiful surroundings looking out over the valley with showers rolling in and out again. The food was very fresh and more than the two of us could eat. What they say in the promo is really what you get. 12 December 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Most enjoyable and delicious experience! This restaurant provided a warm and friendly atmosphere with the staff being very friendly and helpful. We were delightfully surprised how the seafood feast was served and presented, a delicious variety of fresh seafood cooked in so many diffferent ways. The Seafood Chowder was to die for!!!! We'll definitely return and invite all our friends. 6 December 2012

My wife and i had a wonderful time at Terrance of Maleny with our Seafood Feast for two the food was just so very good and we still a little room for sweets and a couple of beers. Everyone should try this place at least once but i bet you will go back again. We were looked after very well.Just a great day all round and we thank you all very much. 3 December 2012

The staff were so professional and courteous, The area is so beautiful and definitely worth the drive, We would highly recommend this experience and we will certainly be returning again with family and friends. 1 December 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by A Perfect way to celebrate a Special Event Thank you Red Balloon for providing us with the opportunity to have a very memorable and delicious way to celebrate our 49th Wedding Anniversary. From the moment of arrival to when we left the staff were very attentive and friendly, the food presentation and qaulity were amazing. Our only other observation was that it was too big. We would have been more than satisfied with the Seafood Chowder and the cold Seafood Platter, we were unable to do justice to the following Hot Platter which seemed quite a waste. Overall 10/10 . We have already recommended the experience to quite a lot of people. Thank You. 29 November 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by An excellent experience in every respect After a very pleasant drive, the restaurant is beautifully located with a gorgeous view out the window table down the range towards the coast. We were nicely welcomed with good explanation of the dishes on offer, then professional service was followed by a lovely presented quartet of seafood dishes. Rated 4 out of 5 by well worth the trip Cold platter was fantastic. The hot food platter I felt was spoit with a curry flavouring, it masked the flavour of the seafood. The sauces served with the hot food I felt did not suit the seafood. Passed on feedback to staff but did not seem to care. 18 November 2012

The sauces accompanying the very fresh seafood were perfect adding just the right flavours. Presentation and service were equally good and we will return to sample some of the other dishes on offer.
