Rated 5 out of 5 by The experience was excellent - surpassing my expectations. Penny is clearly a skilled photographer but is also a competent and patient instructor and demonstrator. I have had an upmarket camera for several years but had never used it successfully at night. This workshop not only showed me how to set up the camera for night photography but also some of the tricks of the trade - and also showed me things about my camera that I did not know. The workshop was a birthday present from my son - and one of the best presents I have had for quite a while. I cannot praise the whole experience too highly and would now be interested in workshops on other aspects of photography delivered by Penny. 9 March 2012

Penny who conducted the workshop was both informative, professional in a pleasant way, and is very commendabe in the way she conducted the group 'workshop' giving enough individual attention, if and when required. As a result, I am now very confident of taking good pictures at night, and I can also have some fun employing some creative techniques - quite a bonus...............Thanks to Penny, RedBalloon, and Rebekah - my daughter who bought this gift for me. 16 February 2012

Great directions/instructions pre-workshop with the option to receive the notes prior to the evening jaunt.
